Christmas Vacation Remake?? - Blu-ray Forum

Would WB ever consider doing a remake of this classic Christmas movie and (IF) they do, who would you all cast for as the main family and cousin Eddie?

Not gonna happen.

Having said that, I did enjoy Vacation (2015) which was more of a belated sequel. Bring back the cast of that movie for a Christmas version and that'd be better than remaking/rebooting.

I wasn't that big of a fan of the remake/sequel. But I agree, if there's ever a Christmas Vacation remake, it wouldn't make any sense not to being back that cast for it.

Liam Neeson as Clark, Marion Cotilliard as Ellen, Bill Hader and Melissa McCarthy as Rusty and Audrey, Gary Oldman as Cousin Eddie. It'll make hundreds.

They already made one in 2003 and apparently it stunk to high heaven:

It has an IMDB rating of 2.7 out of 10. It even had Eric Idle and Randy Quaid in it, but even they couldn't save it.
