Logan's Run (1976)

I hope we could get this on 4K before the remake which is said to come out in 2019 or 2020(?)

Logan's Run would need a good bit of restoration to get it up to standards and I'm not sure how Warner feels about the film since it's technically an MGM production that they inherited. I feel like Warner treats these films like red-headed stepchildren. I'd love to be proven wrong, though. I love this film.

Just watched this on blu-ray, and I agree, this needs a 4k release and restoration/remaster.

Yup, totally agree. It would look tremendous with a proper restoration. I've said elsewhere here that the current BD is really showing it's age, and it is. Very unlikely that Warners will do that extensive restoration. While not perfect I could live with the current BD when considering how many films aren't even on Blu-ray at all.

Still, one of my favorite classic SF films and knowing how good it could look on UHD makes me hold out hope.
