Kubo and the two strings

I would absolutely love this in UHD HDR Dolby Vision, since it was actually shot in this format.

I hope we see it at some point despite the poor box office numbers.

I saw this in Dolby Cinema and the color palette and Atmos mix really deserve the best it could look, and sound, on home video.

Yeah, I’d be there day one for a 4K release of this.

I want all the Laika films on 4K in a nice set. The added contrast from HDR would probably make these babies sing even more than they do in HD.

maybe with the just announced LAIKA/Shout Factory news, the first four movies will be seeing new deluxe editions, my fingers are crossed that Kubo might get a 4K UHD edition, along with maybe 4K's of Coraline, ParaNorman, and The Boxtrolls - time will tell !!

Out of that bunch, probably only Coraline is marketable and sellable as an individual title; it's a Selick film after all.

who at Laika/Shout! Factory do I have to b*** to get them to release these on 4K, specifically 'Kubo' - the second upcoming bluray release ignores the Dolby Atmos mix. Granted it was Fox/Disney, but 'Missing Link' at least got it's Atmos mix on both the streaming and bluray edition (and Vision in streaming form).
