Fox sure likes re-releasing Deadpool for the holidays.
Just saw this in-store today. Hey mine didn’t come with lights!

Again, I find it so creative and genius to continue releasing all of these Deadpool items. Deadpool has flooded everything and I love it!

Can someone tell me if they think the 4k is worth the $7 increase over the standard version on BF? The standard is such a good deal where as the 4k is good but not great. I can live it’s the standard of the difference is slight. Has anyone viewed both to know the difference?

Perhaps the audio is pretty obvious, DTS-HD Master audio 7.1 (for Blu-ray) vs Dolby Atmos (for 4K Ultra HD)

To be completely honest, I haven't checked the Blu-ray, though Only the 4K UHD BD

Will sell out quickly online if you’re not online at the moment and there’s no chance I’ll go into a Wal Mart on Black Friday. Zero!

For $15 dollars you get both the 4K and the Blu-ray so it really is a no-brainer. Plus you get two cuts on both 4K and Blu-ray. Really is the best deal. It should be far more expensive than it is selling for. GO FOR IT!!!

Christmas PG-13 version is being re-released in theaters in December with profits and portions going to Charity. I believe the Fudge Cancer foundation (name changed for the holidays). Curios if this will get a disc release.

Ryan Reynolds had 2 requests to do this :

1. Profits go to charity.

2. He gets to kidnap Fred Savage.

I am specifically waiting to buy Deadpool 2 when a bundle including the theatrical, extended, and PG-13 cuts together. I have no doubts that it's coming.

Watched this last night and it was very much in line with what I experienced in the Dolby Cinema presentation. I wouldn't call it a demo disc, but I like the look of this flick. For all the crazy stuff going on in DP2 I think the UHD has a nice, natural look to it with enough highlights to keep your eyes engaged. Had to watch it at low volumes but I felt like the Atmos mix was appropriately immersive and well balanced.

I watched the Super Duper cut and I'll have to revisit the theatrical to decide which I prefer. In both cases I felt like the movie dragged a bit towards the middle (around the prison break scene) but the Super Duper cut maybe had a few extra moments where things stalled a bit. Still, the movie is a lot of fun and I may even prefer it to the original. Love that last act.

Watching this again tonight. Been a solid couple months since I purchased the disc. Still love the way this looks.

The super duper cut is definitely the way to go. Normally I'm not much into extended cuts but this one just works much better.

It's fine for what it is. Shame they filtered the theatrical cut UHD tho as it's my preferred version of the film.

I haven't watched the theatrical cut.

I enjoy the Unrated edition so much.

Once Upon a Deadpool Blu-ray

So, just BD for this version. Super fast release time too. Kind of a shame since it felt like the movie got royal treatment on UHD with the 4 discs for both cuts ala Logan.

Looks like I’ll be buying my first Blu-ray in over 4 years.

This IMHO was funnier than the R version.

I'm interested in seeing this, but can't imagine myself watching it more than once since I love the original (still haven't watched the super duper cut I own). I might consider it digitally if the price is right.

I get the disappointment but also why there is no 4K version of Once Upon a Deadpool. It's a pretty niche title as a re-release which got a somewhat limited theatrical run, plus they are probably marketing it more towards the family market which is less likely to buy UHD discs.

Anyway, saw it in theaters, and the 20 minutes of new material is fantastic, though the rest of the film basically just plays like a TV edit of Deadpool 2 and is not as effective as the theatrical cut.
