Yes, the Stephen Chow film. Mei Ah, Region Free/All, out in HK around January 18th. Most likely real HD, don't think Mei Ah ever did upscales.

It's hardly attractive to be plastering the word 'upsampling' on artwork (why not just leave the audio at the original specification?), though at least it's honest (unlike others).

I suspect some past Mei Ah 'HD' masters (done during the noughties) were only 720 (not 1080), though I will give the benefit of the doubt and say it is possible they've done a fresh scan for this film. I don't have much hope for the grain though.
