^^ Does anyone ever take any of these "analysts" stories seriously anymore, one way or the other?

Honestly, I don't. I take them all with a grain of salt for any number of reasons.

My favourite analyst report is still the one where the guy couldn't add up to $900. Classic.

And then you figure out how much money these guys get paid to sit around and basically make stuff up off the top of their heads and then try and find some "math" to back up said idea.

How do I get into a racket like that?

they are just looking for attention since the other analysist said the wii will win or the xbox360 will win, and none declared ps3 as a possible winner they took the chance to be on the spotlight.

As long as the XBOX 360 is in LAST PLACE, I'm happy with that

Even so, I'm still buying it (the Asian version of it) but only after TWO YEARS :P. PS3 and Wii would be higher priorities.

Another personal prediction:

I think that XBOX 360 will dominate the whole of North America and probably South America.....BUT not the rest of the world. In Europe, Asia and the Pacific, the PS3 and Wii will still beat it hands down.

Probably thinking that in terms of global market share, the XBOX 360 would continue to be in last place.

Needless to say that people wouldn't buy consoles just on the factors popularity or most number of units sold alone. Other factors come in to play.
