Default iTunes UK V USA

I can’t get over home much better the UK pricing is over the USA store

They are currently doing a massive sale at £2.99 or $3.85 and it includes some big new releases

Crazy rich Asians
Greatest showman
Wonder Woman
Dead pool 2
The meg
Blade runner 2049
Jumanji 2

Loads more as well and I’m just shocked how cheap it is as most of these movies are a minimum of 9.99 on USA And up to 19.99 still

This is why they're doing it - https://advanced-television.com/2019...tal-ownership/

It's a drive to increase digital ownership.

We got the same sale here on the Irish Store although you guys in the UK have a lot more films included and the Fox titles are not as cheap here.\

I got quite a few movies that I've been wanting.

A very unusual sale though. New releases at €3.49/£2.99

With this being shouldn't the companies be highlighting it a lot more? Only current customers will see the price drops and even then I only know myself because I happened to be browsing the store. I was going out of town and not taking any devices except this old MacBook so I could have missed the sale.

I don't think I saw any Sony titles in the offer on our store. Seems they forgot us.

EDIT: And why won't Warner Bros. ever put Blade Runner 2049 on sale in Ireland ?

Excellent! I’m really torn as I’m heavily invested in the USA store but tempted to re buy at these prices so it can all be linked into one account. I hate having to keep switching accounts

The 2 accounts thing is less of an issue on appletv when you can sign into both and switch. Cant do that on mobile devices however.

I did use to do that before but had some issues with the store not switching over and had to restart Apple TV each time.

I’ll try it again.

I originally signed up to the USA store as movies and shows were always coming out way sooner than the uk but the gap isn’t so bad now.

It’s a really unusual sale. Lots of these I’d already bought when they dropped to £7.99 because that seemed like a good deal, some at £4.99 (Greatest Showman over Christmas, first time it dropped below £13.99) because they seemed like a steal. At £2.99 I bought fast because I thought they were mis-prices! I’ve literally had Kong on my wishlist for a year waiting for it to go under £8, so they’ve drawn in a lot of things that are not normally in any kind of sale alongside some brand new releases (Crazy Rich Asians is still on ‘early release’!)
I wish we got regular sales like this but this is a pretty freak event.

I also thought it was some kind of mistake and I clicked on some quick.

I have some store credit left and I'm trying to decide whether to get the Back to the Future trilogy or a bunch of movies I've not seen before.

Any idea if the sale is on until Monday or does it end on Friday?
