Despite the lackluster 1st Ep. i ended up really liking this.Fukunaga is an amazing director.Overall, this reminds me a lot of Gilliam stuff like "Brazil" or "12 Monkeys".
A damn good mix of weirdness and comedy.

Billy Magnussen just keeps popping out for me in movies.Dude has turned into one of the best supporting actors for me.
The supporting cast is damn strong in general, maybe due to the reusage of actors in the different therapy scenarios.

This show was pretty interesting. It plays out like a dream because the characters are taking medications for a clinical trial with their experiences being observed. Both main characters were really miserable people. I'm guessing in the future we'll have the capability to record dreams and these kinds of oddball scenarios probably aren't totally off. Enjoyed the weirdness of it and how it all tied together in an erratic way with characters recurring and unresolved themes playing out. I can see why it is very divisive with such unlikeable characters and the dream worlds bouncing all over the place.
