I really want this on 4K or at least Blu-Ray. I know it's unlikely to ever happen but man this would be a nice series to add to my collection. Anyone else hoping that someday it will happen?

Stranger Things got 4K Blu-ray releases so it isn't unheard of. But that's a whoooole different kettle of fish. ST is basically a phenomenon and the home video market extended its profits.
A Series of Unfortunate Events doesn't quite have that fanbase, but I'd love to see it hit 4K disc, it would otherwise be such a waste of the beautiful native 4K finish and DV grade. It does look great on Netflix, so I can only imagine how much it could be improved by a higher bitrate and less compression. |
