Warner Bros Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2019)

Quote:
In 2015, the Dark Knight met the Heroes in a Half Shell on the comics page for the first time. Now, that same team-up is headed to animation with an all-star voice cast, and we've got an exclusive first look.

This spring, Warner Bros. Animation is teaming up with DC Entertainment and Nickelodeon for Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, an all-new animated movie that unites everyone's favorite turtles with the Caped Crusader for the first time outside of the comics page. Based on the Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics miniseries by James Tynion IV and Freddie Williams II, the film will see the turtles meeting Batman via a transdimensional encounter, and feature our heroes teaming up to face Batman's deadly rogues gallery.
Quote:
Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will arrive on 4K, Blu-ray, and Digital late this spring. For now, check out our official first look at images from the film, as well a behind-the-scenes shot of Criss recording his dialogue as Raphael.

Good to see this is at least getting a blu-ray release unlike the time Batman teamed up with Scooby-Doo

Man that still is so crudely drawn. Look at Donatello's head.

Maybe they were going for crudely? Looks like 70's/80's Batman.

It's not really exclusive to this film. A lot of Warner / DC productions have really taken a turn for the worst in the animation department.

Uhhh what? This is one of those comics crossovers I never expected to see in motion. Hopefully it’s good

After watching Batman Ninja, I'm going to be thoroughly disappointed by the artwork in all other DC animation releases.

Since this comic crossover is getting the film treatment, maybe that Ghostbusters Ninja Turtle crossover will be next!

Though my childhood imagination did a better crossover than the first GB/TMNT comic, at least in my opinion. haha.

I never thought I see the day when Warner would team up with Nickelodeon. This is indeed one for the ages.

Batman Ninja makes for some pretty stills but in motion the film wasn't that great. The CG anime still needs work from a lot of studios. I've seen way worse (looking at you Berserk 2016) but this one did not impress me at all.

Viacom’s networks are starting to work on a new system of creating content for other providers (their Nicktoon Pinky Malinky was recently released on Netflix, who’ve also inked a deal for Loud House and Rise of the TMNTfilms), so Nickelodeon actually playing a part in this crossover isn’t too shocking. Though if their logo appears on the box art as well as the film itself, I’ll be very amused.

I bet it will. For the simple fact that they own the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles now.

Hey is it Batman vs TMNT? It’s clear they are teaming up not fighting.

I'm honestly okay with the different art style, because as much as I love Phil Bourassa's art style, I want some variety in the character design department once in a while, instead of just the same uniform art style over and over again.

My three year old will probably faint. Daddy is pretty excited about it too.
