Default Super Mario Bros (1993): A Spicy Meatball?

Great or sucked? Did the critics miss something? Is this as bad, as they say?

I enjoyed it. It's probably not the film most people wanted, but I'm more than positive there are people out there that enjoyed it as much as I did.

Yeah, I'll join the concensus here and say that it was bad but I still thoroghly enjoyed it. I loved how they made the bomb scene long and tense

Correct. It is just one of those movies that you really like even when you know it is not very well made, acted, ect.

Well it's a kids movie. In that way it did what it was supposed to do. Kids love the film but it's not something you would buy on Bluray. (Unless your kids bug the heck out of you to get it)

I remember watching this on YouTube. Man it suffered from Plan 9 syndrome. It was so god awful and cheesy, you just gotta love it. Too bad all the other video game based movies don't do the same thing.

whoever thought it would be good to place the super mario bros in the world of Blade Runner and Total Recall needs never make a movie again....

They should have set it up just like video game, hell I would have just based it on Mario 3....
