Remember seeing this one in the theater and was like 'huh?' But at the time I hadn't yet seen Bill in Rushmore, Lost in Translation, etc. and was mostly just familiar with his comedic work.

What a wonderful film. I have the Universum Films (German) BD, and it's not at all that bad. Somewhat grainy, though I think it's inherent in the source, and close-ups look nice and clean. Audio is very good. Nevertheless, if Kino's version is significantly better, I'll go for it, but I won't hold my breath.

Great movie; still own the DVD, but haven't watched it in years. Episodic in the best of ways. Tilda Swinton's appearance at the end is phenomenal, and I also remember the sequence with Jessica Lange as the hippie psychotherapist and Chloë Sevigny as her secretary/lover being extremely funny.
