I'm going off the master list on Letterboxd which includes all editions (1210 films). I initially started going through it by list order, but I think I'll have to double back now that I will continue with it chronological.

That makes sense. I considered doing something like this a few years back but never worked up the desire to dive in. A considerable higher amount of the films should also now be included on Blu Ray as well compared to when I was toying with the idea. The books are pretty cool and so this will be a nice companion resource.

It's a bit headache inducing copying and pasting all those bd numbers, but I figure I'll (and hopefully others) will enjoy it when all is said and done. I'm about 82 films out from completing all lists, so this list will also be a good reminder to pick up the few films on bd I have not seen yet like Underground and Before the Revolution.

All the lists are chronological. I guess the only case where there is a "ranking" is when they boot films out as naturally those were on the bottom of the stack.
