I like them both, Kaitlyn Dever and Beanie Feldstein, but judging from the trailer I'm not going to watch it - except it gets raving reviews.

Female Superbad?

Looks kind of fun... and I like Olivia Wilde, so I'll probably give it a try.

Hype around it's hot, and the trailer was pretty witty (at least compared to Good Boys), looking forward to it.

That Kaityn Devers' voice sounds almost exactly like Zoey Deutsch.

Anyways, looks entertaining. And I'm always willing to give a first time director like Olivia Wilde a shot.

Reviews out of SXSW are terrific. Definitely looking forward to it. Looks like one of those great acclaimed teen comedies that bombs in theaters but people will discover over the years.

As a Brit I've always wondered: is American high-school life anything like it's portrayed in these types of films over the years?

This looks like it could be fun, and I'm ready to proclaim Olivia Wilde the best-looking film director of 2019.

Superbad? Didn't that movie such enough?
I might be one of the few who did not laugh once at that movie and the trailer didn't have anything laugh worthy either.

Didn't know that. That's awesome.

She was great in Lady Bird.

This is getting rave reviews.

Who knew Olivia Wilde had it in her?

Booksmart - Rated R for strong sexual content and
language throughout, drug use and drinking - all involving
teens.

I didn't laugh once during the trailer but I love Kaitlyn Dever and teen comedies so I'll probably check it out during the 1-2 weeks it's in theatres.

I got an e-mail via my Regal Club for this screening. Even being for free isn't enough to see this.

I went to the AMC A-List advanced screening tonight and thought it was fine. It's fun and I enjoyed it, but it's not great or anything. I'm hearing a lot of female Superbad remarks, and it was more like Take Me Home Tonight. It's a pretty standard high school party movie without much in the way of twists, plot, or surprise. The funniest bits can be seen in the trailer, save for a scene with Jason Sudekis which is easily the highlight of the movie.

I think advanced screenings sometimes peak my expectations. It usually means the studio is really confident in the movie and want to build word of mouth, which had me expecting a top tier teen movie. When it was over, I found it slight but still fun.
