3:10 to Yuma is 7.1 pcm... ummm there are a few others. Forbidden Kingdom is DTS MA 7.1. if you have your hands on any asian films they are almost all in 7.1 audio. Like Sha Po Lang, Fearless, Flashpoint, Exiled, & Ip Man is as well and it was just released today on blu-ray as i'm sending this :-D.

the music end i'm not sure, i've never looked into the music stuff. Movies only here my friend..

hope this helps, but i'm sure you'll get alot more info from many others as the day goes along.

J :-P

Keep in mind almost all the films mentioned above were originally mixed and mastered in 5.1, they aren't true 7.1 mixes.

A lot of mid-to-high end receivers will process 5.1 to 7.1 in a manner similar to what is done with those films listed here, especially if it's a good mix with a lot of "phantom" center-surround.

Unless of course the original source elements were used to create a new 7.1 mix.

Not so much--there's a handful, maybe up to a few dozen. Although, with the right processing in a pre/pro or AVR, every single movie out there could become 7.1.

A total of 70 titles listed at blu-raystats.com and 68 of those are lossless. That's quite a few. However, there are many titles in that list that I don't care for. The number I own or wish for doesn't number more than 20 - 25. That's not much more than a handful.

If you're a Sly Stallone fan, then the latest Rambo movie will do just fine.
