The scariest thing in this film series isn't the fake snake.

It's Jon Voight's legs!

I didn't even know they made sequels, the first was pretty bad. However, I'm liking the artwork a lot.

It turns out there's a further sequel of sorts not in this set...

I hated the first one and had no idea about the sequels, so this has all come as quite a shock to me! Loved the first Lake Placid, though.

Regardless of my thoughts on the movie, this is probably gonna be a really good trashy fun set for some people.

I have the first one on Blu-ray (not that I've got around to watching it yet), it's a lot of fun, the second film is also very good. I haven't seen the other two, they do pop up on the SYFY channel from time to time, they may be made for TV movies.

They are indeed made for TV, by SyFy themselves. I'm not hearing great things haha.

The second movie is actually a pretty decent action adventure, nothing spectacular but solidly entertaining.

Yeah the second film is easily the best off the series. The first one I find to be quite funny in places. The last two were not bad for straight to DVD titles. however that Lake Placid cross over they did was awful.

I absolutely love the first movie, major nostalgic feels for it, so that's always been my favourite.

Here's another fan of "Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid".
It's a fun and underrated movie, somewhat like a B-movie version of Indiana Jones.
The first movie is cool just for Jon Voight's overacting alone.
Haven't seen the other movies but I've never read anything good about them.
