Default Rear surrounds wont play?

Hello all I have a Samsung 650 & Sony Blu ray S550, when i run my speakers through setup i can hear all the speakers correctly by using the Test feature. But as soon as I play the actual movie all i hear is the fronts, and center and sub. The rear surrounds do not have sounds during movies but do during testing.

I have the audio setup for 5.1 multi channel through the blu ray player as well.

I have a very old Htib and the actuall reciever is built into the sub housing with analogs going into the back of my blu ray player.

Like i said though when i use the test feature on the blu ray i get a test sound in my rears, just wont play sound when the movie starts out the rears.

Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Make sure the movie language setting is either 5.1 and not 2 channel.
