Yes, it is, when it was first announced everyone freaked out that it was going to be a bd-r because of amazon’s wording, but then it turned out it was one of the first ones to be pressed. And with the success of Thor ragnarok, Sony just pressed a whole lot more.

It's kind of an odd once since it was released on dvd by Sony on its own and through Mill Creek in a double feature with Another You. It was kind of an odd era for Aykroyd. I thought Nothing But Trouble was a quirky masterpiece whereas My Stepmother is an Alien was a complete dud.

Nothing But Trouble was insane. Time has been kind to it, too. A recent rewatch reveals it as a solid, quirky comedy-horror film. At the time, it seems like no one understood its tone. But there's nothing else quite like it. I'm hoping WAC eventually releases it. It's a shame this was Aykroyd's only directorial effort.

I don't know what to call Wilderpeople other than a one-off since it doesn't appear to belong in either group.

It was supposed to be part of the Choice BDR with 26.99 price, but it was pulled late and released with a pressed disc and was never labelled as an MOD product. It was also switched to an Amazon Exclusive despite BBY and some others having a preorder page originally (all cancelled) unlike any of the other Choice or new line on MOD products. Amazon doesn't usually list whether it's considered MOD or not unless it's burned media. None of the WAC Blurays are listed specifically as MOD those other retailers do list them that way

It was released 2 years before the first official Sony NonChoice MOD ($24.99 MSRP) and it doesn't appear to be handled by Allied Vaughn which all the new line of pressed disc are.

Sony doesn't distinguish their MOD line with a separate UPC like WAC does so I'm not sure what they consider it.

For folks looking for a decent deal on the Sony MOD line

FYE is having a PI DAY sale "31.4% off $50+ order" their current prices on most released titles including Fright Night. No preorders appear to be working at all.

The normal $25MSRP appear to be $15.

Most of the Warner Archive and Universal pressed MOD line is also part of this sale with most titles around $13.

Not as good as WAC 4/44 sales IF they have one, but at least the recent items or 2 disc titles aren't blocked
Not as good as BN 40% off sale for members or with coupons, but easier for most people.

There were a few other titles that FYE either doesn't carry or is OOS

I've accepted the reality of higher prices in this age of dwindling physical media but can't help believing the studios would probably move many more copies of these MOD discs if the prices were slashed in half. Aside from the titles being available on disc, the only "perk" with these titles is they look great PQ-wise - typical Sony quality. But paying $20-25 for them really hurts sometimes.
