Saw this in theaters and enjoyed it as i grew up on Henson's stuff even Ninja Turtles the movie which he also co-did the same year.

Shout should do a CE for any Henson fan.

With the recent passing of Nicolas Roeg, it would be nice to see someone (bats eye at Shout Factory) do a release of this. In Hollywood tonight, there was a screening and Anjelica Huston came to speak about it, so she'd definitely be down for a retrospective interview.

I believe there is a remake on the horizon so I am willing to bet a Blu will finally be released when that comes out.

I'm surprised Warner Archive hasn't done a blu-ray release of this film yet. With the recent death of the director, Jim Henson's legacy and the announcement of the remake, feels like the perfect time.

It's probably handled by Warner's family division. I'm sure we'll see a BD when the remake hits theatres, as it's the same studio. I'm also sure it'll be the only good thing connected to the new film.
