Saw a screening of this last night. While I liked cell block 99 a bit more, I still loved it.

Glad this is coming out soon as it doesn’t look like it will be playing in any of the theaters near me. No 4K disc is pretty disappointing though.

The fact that a 4K HDR version exists makes the lack of a 4K disc all the more disheartening. Maybe it’ll crop up in Germany or something - there’s certainty a possibility.

Watched this last night. Zahler is 3 for 3 in my book.

Zahler takes his time and I'm sure that leaves a bad taste in some people's mouths but I'm not one of them. Hes great at building tension and his way of filming violence is very effective. Not too many movies make me even slightly uneasy, but his have a way of doing so. Big fan

Since there's no domestic 4k release some of you guys should just bite the bullet and rent the UHD version via VUDU.

Really disappointed that there’s no 4K. Really surprised too since Lionsgate has been releasing some real stinkers on UHD from their catalogue but are so selective when it comes to new films like this and Suspiria.

I’m gonna be cautious before I buy too. The compression on LG’s Hacksaw Ridge was atrocious, you pretty much had to buy the 4K version if you wanted a decent presentation
