Default Dead Trigger (Dolph Lundgren)

Dolph Lundgren is Basically Playing Frank Castle Again in Zombie Movie ‘Dead Trigger’:

Quote:
Before Thomas Jane and Jon Bernthal played the character, Dolph Lundgren was the original Frank Castle for 1989’s The Punisher, dying his hair black, picking up some big ass guns and blowing the bad dudes away. For the upcoming zombie film Dead Trigger, well, Dolph’s hair is black again, he’s armed with some big ass guns, and he’s slaying all the bad guys.

Only this time, the bad guys are already… dead. Find the trailer below!

In Dead Trigger, an adaptation of the first-person video game…

When a mysterious virus kills billions and turns many others into bloodthirsty zombies, Captain Walker leads an elite team to destroy them and save the world.

Autumn Reeser, Romeo Miller and Isaiah Washington also star.

Mike Cuff and Scott Windhauser directed the film, written by Heinz Treschnitzer.

Dead Trigger will be released in theaters and On Demand on May 3, 2019.

Dolph vs Zombies? Sounds good.

But the trailer doesn't impress with its tired video game CGI aesthetic.

BATTLE OF THE DAMNED (2013) is a superior film.

Anything with Dolph is worth watching. What a beautiful man.

Given his recent mainstream revival with CREED 2 and AQUAMAN, I really hope Dolph gets better leading role offers...

I hate to bring this thread back from the dead so to speak, but I watched this one the other night on Hulu and it’s just not good. I watched it for Dolph and Autumn Reeser (who I wish would get another chance at decent roles other than Hallmark movies), but it was just passable.
[Show spoiler]The ending was horrible, and really killed anything the movie had going for it.
