The original hands down!

I recently watched all five films and yeah, they don't compare to the OG film!

I saw this whole series last year before moving. I really enjoyed the whole lot of them to varying degrees, but the first is easily the best.

My rankings:

Phantasm 4/5
Phantasm II 3.5/5
Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead 3/5
Phantasm IV: RaVager 2.5/5
Phantasm: Oblivion 2.5/5

I've only seen the first two.

The original is pretty good, but not great imo.

Part 2 is just dreadful.

If any of the sequels are worse than that...than dear god.

Exactly the same as me. Ravager was just.... ugh. I try not to think about it too much, but as a long-time fan I felt so gypped.

Mine is still the same

I can't wait to see the Director's Cut of the second film which is supposedly going to be on the new BD set. It'll be interesting to compare it with the theatrical version we'd had for so many years.
