You know you can already see the preview on the Pirates 1 disk.

I know it's good I've had a glimpse there of what it'll look like on my Tv.

That is AWESOME!!!

"The high definition event of the year"

It's as much a promotion piece for Blu-ray as it is a preview for Cars. That's probably what they'll be playing in their travelling booth at malls too.

Disney and Sony are an unbeatable one two punch.

They really are. Can you imagine the Trifecta when Fox finally comes out of their coma?

Cars is just yet another great release.

This is totally different than what is on Pirates.

Looks great although I'm not totally understanding how the dashboard is going to work. I'm dying here waiting for Pixar Day.

But, if the same thing was available in HD glory on a disc, then I'd want to watch it that way, too.

Wow, that little preview screen still looked better than DVD on my HDTV. Must have. They should get Jeff Foxworthy to promote this one. All of middle America will buy it.

The Incredibles is the big one I am waiting for. Practically popping corn for it now.

Got it on pre-order along with the other 2 Pixar releases the same date. Cars was not my favorite Pixar production (though not my least fave either---Bug's Life, I'm looking at you---), and the single-disc DVD release made me feel like a jilted lover after all those 2-disc special editions; it all adds up to having been my 1st non-buy of Pixar on disc. But not anymore, now that we're livin' the Blu life.

(Now if we could just get The Incredibles before 2009...ooh, and if Warner would BD Iron Giant! I can imagine a Brad Bird-on-Blu festival becoming a regular fixture of our holiday season in this house.)
