Based on screen caps comparison here it's the same master and encode looks near identical compared to Twilight version. German version also has English subtitles which are probably proper English without any hard of hearing descriptions.

The German back cover says the subtitles are English SDH/HoH: "Englisch für Hörgeschädigte".

Couple of caveats:

1. No English subs for the Chinese dialogue.

2. The soundtrack is 100 ms out of sync.

Well, that shanks it. I thought this might be an alternative to the insane prices being asked for the Twilight Time edition.
