Default Playstation Network video Downloads

I notice on the videos, they don't have a history. I accidentally deleted some downloaded stuff when I upgraded my PS3 hard drive.

Anyone had any luck with calling them to get credit for downloads or anything? Not the end of the world, but about $25 bucks in downloads lost.

Apparently the policy is one time only download, ive heard you can call and they might allow you to redownload something once more..

The DRM for the videos really suck, I do not recommend getting movies off the store.

At best I would only in the future pay for rentals instead of buy, I will never buy another video from them again.

same thing happened to a friend who got some dental work and was planning on satying in all weekend.
went balls out and bought about $60 worth of video stuff and now has a full HDD and does not want to delete the videos so to not lose the crap investment he's made.

He should be able to use the backup tool to move to a larger hard drive. Not a very good answer, I know, and I'm not 100% certain that'll work, but it probably will.

i suppose that would almost work, but it's still a pain in the ass to have always need those floating around somewhere, rather htan like PSN titles, delete and re download when necessary.

and in his case i believe that is the point. poor guy, he's gonna get a PSP and see if he can move them over there and keep them on a separate MSD card... will have o buy a couple gigs lol.
i suppose that's how they get you.
