Default The Incredible Hulk: The Complete Series (1977-1982)

Released by Elephant Films, a 19 disc set (3 more discs than the Fabulous set) with no reported mastering errors (unlike the Fabulous Films set).

https://www.amazon.fr/LIncroyable-Hu...dp/B07K1L2BVH/

Currently 84.99 euro which converts to approximately $95.23 USD.

Only possible downside is that this set reportedly contains LCPM Mono English audio whereas the Fabulous Films set had DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0. It's possible that the Mono mix may be better though?

Please let us know if you do. I'm curious to hear a review of the French set.

Just because it's 2.0 doesn't mean it's stereo. The UK discs are mono.

I was able to snag a ridiculously cheap copy off Ebay and can confirm there's NO black crush on these discs. Did an A/B comparison with the Fabulous discs, which I also own, and there's no question the Elephant release is not afflicted.

Thumbs up for sure, even with the goofy artwork

Is the episode "Married" in the French boxset the feature-length version? Nearly went and ordered the Fabulous Films release, before hearing about the French release.

This was something I wanted to know, how Amazon.fr packed the boxset. The last few weeks I've been considering whether to decide to get the French release. The Amazon.fr listing page states the two pilot TV movies and the season two premiere are all feature-length.

On Amazon.de, you can change the language to English, but I can't see an option on Amazon.fr.

Mine arrived in such bad shape my postman couldn't figure out how it made it here .
My name and address was unreadable , the thin cardboard packaging was ripped open and you could see in it .
I sent a photo of how it arrived to Amazon France and 30 minutes later I got a phone call from France , needless to say I was amazed .
I got a full refund and was allowed to keep the set .
I really can't complain after bad shipping and customer service stepped up unlike any I've ever dealt with .
The French menu on this is not as easy as most import's I've dealt with but the video and audio quality is top notch from what I have viewed .

Having read comments on here that the French release has the better video/transfer, compared to Fabulous Films UK's release, and I have the DVD sets (which have the extras in English. Have got the States releases of the last three seasons, because if I remember correctly, they had interviews on them which weren't on the UK releases), I'll keep the DVD sets for the extras.

Regarding the Amazon.fr packaging, after getting good, reliable advice from a fellow poster about the French Blu-ray releases of the second and third seasons of Channel Zero, I'm hopefully going to get those releases.

Read the DVD Beaver review of the first season of The Incredible Hulk earlier this week. Does the average bitrate for the episodes seem lower than it should be for a Blu-ray season set? The review also mentions that the transfer isn't as good as The Six Million Dollar Man's.

Is there much chance of a label in the States (Universal themselves or a niche label) doing a release of the series?

Just ordered this now because it apparently doesn't have the black crush that so mars the episode Married, and probably several others. Can't wait.
