^ Typical response to that, but have you seen "Cartoon Wars"? South Park has hit some serious highs in the last 5 years, the last season was weaker but the show definitely still has some life.

south park is as good now as it ever was. it's certainly more interesting to watch.

family guy is no worse than when it started, but then again I don't think a show that bad could get any worse.

Simpsons? seriously who honestly thinks thats funny? I bet its the same people who think King of the Hill is funny..

I guess it all depends on what your idea of funny is..
I enjoy all those shows.

True that. To paraphrase an old quote: "Writing about comedy is like dancing about architecture." Comedy couldn't be more subjective, and it couldn't be more personal. These discussions are fun, but don't expect anybody to change their mind.

Family Guy is definitely not a show that will appeal to the masses.

It definitely takes a certain sense of humor to enjoy it.

Thank God I have one of those sense of humors because that show is hilarious to me.

Not as hilarious as some of you that continue to argue about it on here, but still hilarious.

Wow... are you misinformed!

You do realize that the show was cancelled and subsequently revived due to the EXTENSIVE DVD sales? Oh yeah... That definitely sound like "a show that will not appeal to the masses."

I was referring to the style of comedy that Seth writes. Not the actual popularity of the show.

Well... I think that "the masses" disagree with you on your statement about "the show not appealing to the masses." And, apparently, they have for several seasons now.

I agree with others that comedy is definatley one of the most subjective things. Everyone has their own sense of humor.

I thought the last season was one of the best runs, even given that I'm pretty biased. Canada on strike, and the ones about High School Musical and Twilight were instant favorites for me.
