Question Onkyo (806) Dynamic EQ

well i turned this feature on the other day. its basically another name for "loud" on a car radio.
it makes the sound richer & fuller at lower volumes

my problem is that now i have TOO much bass but i dont want to lose my bass at hogher volumes.

any way around this.

and another question.
i had an onkyo 706. when i changed channels the center channel dialogue would adjust (higher/lower) itself automatically depending on the program im watching.
i havent noticed this on the 806 yet. is this a feature im missing?
could it be that im using a coaxial and NOT an optical cable
(i used optical for 706, now coaxial for 806)

thanks in adnavce!

-Don

Go to the individual EQ for the the speakers and turn down the bass in the towers and sub.
