Default Fast and Furious Trilogy

Do you guys think this will be sold individually anytime soon or do you think it will be like the SD Back to the Future trilogy and we'll have to wait sometime...?

You are correct on the date. They are being sold together...hopefully by themselves shortly thereafter. This is a day one for me, but don't really like the third one.

I suppose I can simply swap out the third one for the fouth when the time comes...

I'm looking forward to this set. That will leave only Hot Fuzz and Fear and Loathing left before I can finally rid my collection of HD-DVD's.

i guess we all have our own views on the 2nd and 3rd ones. To be honest Myself and my better half, we dig the 3rd one better than the 2nd. So i don't know i guess it depends on our individual preference is all.

Definately a day one purchase here though.

I wouldn't expect them to be sold individually anytime soon. It is possible that when the 4th one gets released on Blu they will be released individually but I wouldn't expect it to happen before then. The only one I really want is the first, although I'd consider the 2nd, but there is no way I'd buy the 3rd. I didn't like it very much and outside of the title it has no connection to the first 2 other than a cameo.

Day one purchase for me. I'm really excited about the 4th one coming out in theatres as well.
Umm...to answer the OP's question, Universal hasn't really announced when these movies will be available outside of the boxset, but I'm sure it will happen in the future just like it happened with the Judd Apatow film 3-pack.

Like with BTTF on dvd, it was available in 2002 as the set but just got released last week seperately. So all those people who waited for just the first can now get it, 7 years later. So don't be surprised if this does not happen anytime soon.

Looks like I'm waiting for individual releases. No way I'll purchase the 3rd.

Think I'll only be buying the first one, never really liked the other two.
At least the UK is showing a release of them singly.

I might be the only one who liked the third but with that said, I'm looking forward to these films as a trilogy.

However, Universal has definitely released these in many formats now.

DVD - individually
DVD - Tricked out edition
DVD - Franchise edition
HD - DVD
UMDs

and now Blu-ray

Talk about paying for these movies many times over again.

Give me the first one, and I'm good to go. The second and third don't do much for me. Not terrible, just not my cup of tea...

Wow. That's pretty cool.
I'll have to find out if the PQ and AQ will be shared/same as the Domestic.
Are these region free titles?

I didn't have high expectations for the 3rd, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Can't wait for the trilogy.

I'm trying to find out if they are region-free and if the video encode for the UK is going to be repurposed from the domestic.

Looks like this is going to be Region 2...
I suppose that is Region B and won't be playable on US players ??
