Rank 'Endgame' within the Superhero genre as a whole - Blu-ray Forum

Everyone's ranking something; The MCU, The X-Men Universe, The DC Universe, etc, but where does Endgame rank among all of them? Is Endgame the second coming of superhero flicks, or a dud?

I said it when Infinity War came out last year but putting this movie anywhere else doesn't feel right.

I personally like the movie but i'd rank so many movies almost side by aide its ridiculous. Its a true testament to the genre we have so many amazing CBMs.

That's a very hard choice but I can't make up my mind between the following movies

The dark Knight
Superman 2
Endgame...

Among CBMs, there's a few I would consider fundamentally better movies because they're not so dependent on other movies and such a long period of time creating that investment in the story/characters. But as far as a superhero/CBM experience goes, I'm not sure there's one that offers anything close to what Endgame does.

1. Captain America: Civil War
2. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
3. Guardians of the Galaxy
4. Spider-Man: Homecoming
5. The Dark Knight
6. Wonder Woman
7. Black Panther
8. Avengers: Endgame
9. Batman V Superman
10. The Avengers

Endgame might make it into my top 10 upon further viewings, but right now it wouldn’t.

Logan is easily my favorite and nothing in Endgame comes close to it
