Awesome, I just hope it's like the first movie and nothing like the second.

I was expecting it to be called The Collected.

Agreed, I love the first. The audio on that one is fantastic.
The second movie felt more like a Saw movie. It did end great though, leaving the viewer wanting more.

Yeah the ending was good to the 2nd one. I really hate that they recast the actor who played The Collector
[Show spoiler]it was clearly not a white guy in the first movie.

I wanted to check this out back in the day, so I picked up a copy of my local (Australian) release. Couldn't make it more than a few minutes in, it was horribly cropped.

I never got around to grabbing the UK release, especially once I discovered that there was no UK release of the sequel, and the Aussie release of that is also cropped.

FINALLY, i enjoyed the first two as they are great and something completely different and creating a new horror icon and new franchise.

I mean we do need fresh new horror franchises and horror icons, i'm just so sick and tired of already dead horse franchises like Saw, Elm Street, Scream, Hellraiser, Texas Chainsaw Massacre etc. coming back on the big screen offering nothing new and i think those franchises and their icons should just die already and rest in peace in favor of new horror icons and franchises.

This should be a trilogy and a good finale to it.

Do you ever get tired of saying the same thing over & over again? Its getting pretty tiring already & you are starting to sound like a broken record at this point. You don't want any more of the old icons, we get it already.

[Show spoiler]It's one of the pest control guys we see early in the movie, he's played by this guy, a Dominican actor:

In the sequel it is clearly a white guy as shown at the end of the movie, played by this guy:

It was a very noticeable and frustrating change from my perspective. I though the first guy was great in the role and he was so creepy. Overall though I thought the second movie was absolutely terrible. I can't believe it's the same writer/ director. Gone was the moody tone and atmospheric visuals and music, it was all replaced by bombastic cartoonish violence and a complete lack of tension.

I'm so happy we're getting another. Dug the first two. Surprised more people here seemingly liked the first better. I thought the second was easily superior even if I enjoyed both.

The bad guy of Crocodile Dundee II
Maybe there is a twist going on which we will see in the third part.

i do agree that we need fresh icons and ideas but those shouldnt take away from the older classics and totally dont agree with those franchises dying. you dont like em, dont watch em

I believe that there is enough room where both can co-exist.

Seriously? Rad, man. The first one is a good shocker and I liked the increased scale of the second even more. Thought it had a good conclusion tbh.

I think he only gets tired when he has to go from the couch to the fridge, and back to the couch again.

This is good news, I liked the first two even though there's no way all those traps could be set up so fast.
