I am so happy! watched this show on and off and it's great and I've been dying for another catalog TV title on Blu-ray that I'm interested in.

It's great too cause my best friend Sara loves the show and owns season one. she loaned it to me recently but i couldn't watch more than an episode or 2. The PQ wasn't great and the ratio threw me. I can live with 4:3 just fine if it was shot that way but I knew this was a crop job.

I've never seen the original show, but I've seen Miami a lot. I gotta admit, it'd be a lot easier for me to get excited about Miami, although I gotta admit, I might end up getting this one anyway just because I have faith it'll be as entertaining as the iteration I'm familiar with.

And no, that Amazon price doesn't look so hot. I'm definitely not touching it until it's a lot closer to about 40 or so.

I only own BOB and Firefly on Blu. Still buying a lot of DVD's (Six Feet Under-the complete series for under $60 for example).

Usually I'm like that too. But Blu-ray will be expensive for a while. Sarah Connor and Pushing Daisies were 20 each but it's only 9 episodes. Think of how many hours of show you get for 66 bucks. Plus the price will go down a bit more I'm sure

i think i may have to pass on these only b/c i already own the standard dvd's. i mostly watch them while working on the weekends and that's not a blu ray player.

i am really happy that CSI is getting the blu treatment though!!!

I hope it isn't too disappointing. Some of the later seasons like 3 or 4 Marg Helgenberger has digital smearing of her face to hide wrinkles and the picture was horrific even on SD.

I'am in a point in life that i prefer to spend 65$ on a Tv Serie, than on any videogame. Wouldn't have said that 5 years ago..

Hey it's the OP! I'm back! LOL.

To the last person, lemme tell you something about video games. I am 21 years old and I own one game for the PS3. Call of Duty 4, so that friends can come over and we shoot each other. I've rented games and bit the bullet on a late fee or two but 60 is too much to spend on something you have to work at. I'd rather be passive and sit and watch Blu-rays with that kind of dough.

Actually it's closer to seasons 6 and onward.

The same process is being done to Vanessa Williams on Ugly Betty now, and occasionally it's done to David Caruso on CSI: Miami.

For CSI specifically, it's a sloppy process because the smearing stays in one spot when the face moves (usually the smearing is done around the chin) and sometimes the camera moves over to an object or computer screen, and the effect blurs that object out because it hasn't moved with the actress.

Hmm, the last season I've seen on DVD is Season 7, and they had dropped it in that series. Thanks God. So it might just be 5 and 6.

I will probably buy future series in Blu, and am tempted by season 1 depending on what I read, but they smeared seasons - no freaking way.

It was annoying, buy nowhere near as annoying as the crap they did to Bones season 1 on DVD. They made her look alien taking out the lines under her eyes.

id buy this but the price is outrageous

24 is out on blu ray in a month and is 15 bucks cheaper and is a new season, this is a catalog season and should be priced even lower

CSI is a very high priced Franshise, even the DVD new releases run 60-70.00. I have said this from the beginning with DVDs
