I guess these dog movies make money?

When I saw the TV spot for ‘A Dog’s Journey’ the other day, I thought it might be an ad for the home video release of ‘A Dog’s Way Home’ (same author).

I enjoyed ‘A Dog’s Purpose’ when I saw it on home video and this new movie is a direct sequel, so it might be worth checking out in theaters. But I doubt I’ll see it. Josh Gad and Dennis Quaid are reprising their roles.

It’s hard predicting this weekend without knowing how Pikachu preforms/Endgame holds but I really would love to see John Wick over-preform with a $40 million+ opening.

Agree. EG dropped another 57% this weekend and now just trending downwards at this point.
All JW3 has to do is open above $26 million and it's looking to open with more than what the first JW made in its entire domestic run.

That's what I did too. I think opening against two other huge openers hurt Chapter 2 even if it did great. This one is the big movie this weekend. Plus after that huge cliffhanger ending I feel people will be anxious to see Chapter 3.
