Yikes! The disc costs 29 euro, but shipping to the states costs 25 euro! 64 bucks is way too much for a flick sight unseen.

I asked over on Facebook, and this is what DiabolikDVD had to say:

I believe the only time I have seen the movie was from a shoddy youtube upload.

I did like the film a lot.

I really like it. It's a classic Canuck late 70s exploitationer, lifted by the performances of Don Stroud and Brenda Vaccaro.

I used to have the Vampix VHS (about 25 years ago!) so I had seen it a couple of times before.

The new disc won't win any awards for presentation, but it's great to finally have it on Blu-ray and there's a particular shot in there (no spoilers) which is much more visible and graphic in HD.

Overall, very pleased.

Watched this earlier-certainly won't win any awards for transfer quality, it's seems to have been taken from an old print and it looks pretty contrasty in some scenes.Still, on the plus side it's clean and relatively free of damage and much better than this has probably ever looked before. Decent movie,Vaccaro and Stroud are excellent.Lionsgate feature on the packaging,they must own this one,at least in europe.
