So now the question is, will Lionsgate offer their own unique transfer or, a la the RAMBO series, will they simply inherit StudioCanal’s? Because that Best Buy listing doesn’t mention a Steelbook (and the price doesn’t support one), which the International release will be; I want that steelie if the transfer is going to be identical everywhere, but I’ll sacrifice it for Lionsgate’s compression.

I bet it will be inherited. I don't believe any of LG's SC UHDs have had any difference in video encoding.

T2 was absolutely NOT LG's encode. That was from SC. They had no choice in the matter.

I was never really a fan. I wasn’t a big fan of the band, I like a few racks but that’s about it. The cast is good. I might pick up for $13 on a Black Friday.

Not a fan of their music either but I've seen movies of bands I don't like, but liked the movie.
