I get no sound from my TV on 2 games. Fight night round 3 and Battlefield:bad company. Any ideas as to why? I get the sound through my receiver but the TV will play no sound. So far out of my 8-9 games, these are the only 2.

Probably because those games are using DTS encoded audio rather than Dolby. And your TV doesn't support DTS.
Turn off DTS in the audio settings for your PS3. When you setup the audio, it gives you a list of audio codecs with checkboxes. DTS is probably showing up here because your receiver tells the PS3 it can do DTS. But then the signal is passed along to your TV which actually can't. So you need to uncheck DTS manually. |
