Somethings definitely wrong with this release. Only 2 disc set. To where Jonny quest is half as long in total and still wac gave it 3 disc. I hope is the gangs next mystery isn't on who ****ed up on the release.

That is the price for it everywhere give or take a few dollars. For example, I got it for $45.97(no sales tax) from BullMoose. I now even see it at FYE for $43.34.

I know, it just bothers me that they’ll discount the DVD so much that it will probably harm the sales of the Blu-Ray.
Added sales tax seems to make the extra discount on FYE practically non-existent ![]() Last edited by DawnShadow; 05-24-2019 at 08:51 AM. |

As for shows though, obviously Where are You? would be epic. But I'd also love for them to finally put out New Scooby-Doo Mysteries, though I feel like that's unlikely simply because they haven't even been put out on DVD yet. What's New would be fun too. |

Amazon UK has it much cheaper I think. I read it’s identical to the US set but comes out in July.

Yeah after tax I'll be paying nearly $50 for this. I haven't paid $50 for a Blu-ray in years, if ever? $40 is usually the most for complete seasons on Blu.

I’ll probably keep my UK order and check the US set price a few days before the UK set ships. If the prices are the same I’ll switch to buying the US set. I can wait since I have the DVD set and a bunch of other blu-rays I have yet to watch.

The price wouldn’t bother me if it was a 4 disc set, that’s the sad thing. I’d happily pay full price in that case. I get that they need to cover the licensing costs, but they could still put out a quality product.

I will wait and see what the reviews are like and when the product goes down in price. I am very concerned about it only being a two disc set.

![]() Especially given that Jonny Quest and Popeye Vol. 2 have both been up for pre-order for less than 24 hours and are at #1 and #4 on Amazon’s anime best seller list, while this set isn’t even in the top 100... Last edited by DawnShadow; 05-25-2019 at 11:18 AM. |

I'm torn because I too want to support this for more Scooby, but at the same time, I have no nostalgic memories of this season. I feel like I'm gonna buy it just to buy it and I'd rather not do that at $50 dollars. I'm gonna check out reviews and wait for a price drop too, cancelled my preorder.

Hmm, WHV's The New Scooby-Doo Movies: The (Almost) Complete Collection is 986 minutes, on two (2) BDs, with an MSRP of $59.99 or WAC's Jonny Quest: The Complete Series is 572 minutes, on three (3) BDs, with an MSRP of $29.99. Shame on you WHV, you should have given this to WAC for proper treatment.

I think more of us need to pre-order this if they're going to consider it a success...
Current sales figures on Amazon: #1,061 in Movies & TV #436 in Blu-ray Compared to Batman: TAS Complete series repackage which was released on October 30, 2018 and has been out for 7 months now #612 in Movies & TV #269 in Blu-ray Compared to Popeye, The 1940s : Vol. 2 #91 in Movies & TV #3 in Anime (Movies & TV) Compared to Jonny Quest #21 in Movies & TV #8 in Kids & Family Blu-ray Discs On the brightside... the Blu-ray is absolutely destroying all the DVD counterparts. The Lost Episodes with 50th Anniversary branding: #10,977 in Movies & TV #1585 in Comedy (Movies & TV) #1624 in Kids & Family DVDs The Lost Episodes without anniversary branding: #1,618 in Movies & TV #196 in Comedy (Movies & TV) #280 in Kids & Family DVDs $29.99 DVD version with 50th Anniversary branding: #32,051 in Movies & TV #23051 in DVD Regular $41 DVD version without anniversary branding: #18,003 in Movies & TV #12527 in DVD Last edited by DawnShadow; 05-25-2019 at 10:03 PM. |

Yeah, while this is my second favorite after the original, I'm a little confused why the original wasn't released first then this second. I think it also would've made sense from a sales standpoint.

As sad as it is, I wouldn’t be surprised if the only reason they’re even releasing this on Blu-Ray is because they spent so much on getting the rights to the remaining episodes that they need to make back as much money on their investment as possible.
