Default Blu-ray disc interchange

Will most of these blue ray discs record in most of the blur ray recorders,For example will sony media play and record in maxell tdk and sharp machines.

I assume that recorded BD will be the same as CD-R and DVD-R in the respect that as long as it is burned properly, it should play in any machine capable of BD playback.

I expect it to e the same as DVD+R so that once a disc is finalized, its interchangeable on any machine.

Yes just like Sony CD-rs can be burned on a HP CD burner, and be played back on a [insert generic DVD player brand name of your choice here].

Blu-Ray media are made to Blu-ray specifications. All manufacturers are expected to follow the BDA specifications. In short all Blu-ray media is compatible wilth all Blu-Ray devices.

Of course there will be el-chepo brands in the future which will be more relaxed about the specs and may have issues, just like El-cheapo CD or DVD media have.

Stick with reputable brands, and you will be fine.
