Really happy to pick this up. I saw an early test screening of the film about 8 months before it was released where we filled out a survey asking what we would change about it and what we liked. Ive had a soft spot for it ever since.

Ooo I'm interested; was the test version close to the theatrical cut or was it darker in tone?

Brave was originally going to be a much darker film apparently until Disney and Pixar demanded a lighter tone to make the film more appealing to audiences and families (these are apparently the creative disagreements that led Brenda Chapman to be replaced by Mark Andrews as director).

Brave could have been a really great film had Lasseter not intervened. Mark Andrews is a hack. I still like the film anyway despite its flaws and I'm gonna buy this.

'The Bear and the Bow'

I really don't see how Brave is a good title for this movie. First time I told my Mom that Pixar was making a movie called Brave, she thought it was going to be about an Indian.
