If it's costing £300 for the complete Blu-set, can you imagine what a complete 4K set will cost?

In an ideal world I'd go with the complete set, but the sensible head kicks in and I can get the individuals for a lot cheaper.

The complete set is listed as Limited Edition so probably will have statue/bust or some other stuff with extra fancy packaging.

The season 1-7 box set pre-order was about £90, so I guess they will also release another boxset with just the series at a more reasonable price.

The prices are always really high at release which is why I went for the Season 1-7 set for £40 and will add Season 8 too it when it drops to £20/30

This sounds like the best option. I gave up around season 5 but i'll give it another go on Blu.

I think they'll be missing a trick if they don't do something like that.

I'm going to keep my eye out for for a good price for the S1-7 boxset. I reckon it'll be a good price sometime before the whole lot is released, maybe around £40-£45 (I already have them all, but they're scattered around, there's a box missing & one season is lent out). The plan is to look at the whole thing from the start, & then buy season 8 when I'm ready for it.

A standard Complete Set will drop to below £70 eventually no doubt, I'll probably pounce then. The Sopranos set has more episodes and goes for a lot cheaper than that.

Do we know this isn't the sigil magnet set, just with 4K discs as well, to justify still charging 45 quid for 6 eps?

yeh they will have to release another BD only SB with magnet to go with others
I had all 7 till I sold them all together last year at Great Price
and bought Standard 1-7 box

I believe the season 8 boxed set comes with an authentic-style parchment scroll of the change.org petition to remake the season with different writers.

It's a HBO show, so Warner distributing, so 99% chance it's region free.

Shocked at how much they eventually went for. They came out reasonably priced as well.
