Universal joint, so it *should* have DV as it's a first-run title.

Looking forward to this. It’s odd, because I actually prefer the F&F franchise prior to the introduction of these characters, yet at the same time I think they’re the best part of the recent releases. I wouldn’t be nearly as interested if it was another full fat Furious.

Excited for this! I may just cough up the price of admission at the theater! Haha.

Should be a great movie to end the summer!

Wonder if this will get an extended cut like the other recent F&Fs. Hopefully not digital only!

An R-rated cut would be interesting. An action movie starring The Rock/Statham/Idris Elba sounds like a no-brainer theater trip, but the F&F movies are so inconsistent for me that I might just wait for a holiday sale.

This will be a visual feast for me. And judging by the trailer that is all I will get out of it. Which is fine Add it to the list of these types. DV? Sure, why not! Keep 'em coming. My pet OLED will need feeding.

Wouldn't be surprised if it made that much just overseas, but I know nothing about that kind of thing so I could be way off.

Man idk how they can glamorize Jason Statham's character. First in Fate he is at the family bbq and now he is getting his own movie. It's like the writers forgot that he murdered Han. SMH

Forgiveness and redemption, bro. Pretty prevalent theme in these movies.

Well... since I already own 1,4-7 on br and 8 on 4K, guess I might as well pick this up.

(don't particularly care for 2 and 3).

Highly doubt Dom would ever "forgive" someone for murdering one of his "family" members. Seems out of character, but even if that's the case.... At least address it. I don't think the writers have even acknowledged it since the end credit scene in F&F6

That's a good point. I haven't thought about that. But then, I never saw the last Furious movie. Furious 7 was a good send-off. I think it's time to end this before it gets even more ridiculous. It's not the same without its main star anyway.

That's always annoyed me.

Don't believe it was ever acknowledged beyond a throw away line in 8, where they need to work together to figure out why Dom did what he did. He then proceeds to save Dom's son.

By the end of 8, they are all BFFs.

Its like: "Han... who's Han?" "Shaw is our bestest buddy now, and we love him".

Yes, but the bigger question is did Han shoot first?
