Batman Beyond: The Complete Series Blu-ray

This is honestly a no-brainer, Batman The Animated Series was such a successful release that it was only inevitable this would happen.

Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series, Justice League, Static Shock, Teen Titans, The Batman, and Batman Beyond. DC owned my childhood. Glad these shows are trickling onto Blu-ray.

This would be an interesting title for Blu-ray because exactly half of it was cel-animated and shot on film, and would need a new scan. The second half of the show was digitally animated in HD and should have masters ready to go (ala Justice League). This would be a welcome upgrade since the DVDs don't have chapter stops, and since the opening is in letterbox, it just plays in a tiny square on a widescreen TV.

I already own Return of the Joker, but I wouldn't be surprised if I find myself double-dipping on it here just like Mask of the Phantasm. I guess that would be good news for others, since it's going for $23 now on Amazon (I got it for $18 from Amazon Canada since it was OOS on Amazon US).
