Need Help Thinking of Child Actors - Blu-ray Forum

I've been commissioned to figure out some casting choices for an upcoming movie I'm helping develop. I'm trying to think of some good present day child actors to play the lead, a male roughly between (or looks like) the age of 14-18.

I already have Freddy Highmore, you guys have any other suggestions? They can be very famous or not at all, there is a decent budget attached.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I've got a great list now.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt < pushing it probably. Ummm, Mark Webber from "The Good Life" maybe? Or how about Jamie Bell!

yeah lol i can't reveal much...the kid is someone who is very dedicated to his cause. someone in the mold of logan lerman in "hoot" if anyone ever saw it.

He's towards the top of the range, almost twenty but Hollywood likes them older anyway

So, they are going for a Freshman in high school look versus say a senior in high school.

Max Theriot is older, but very young looking
