The Arse of the World's Mind
United Kingdom Man in a Suitcase: The Complete Series (Network)

This is getting a release on 14th October

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07TLP9HCL/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_x_nYMiDbPC0R06A via

A discredited ex-CIA agent reduced to working as a private investigator, McGill travels the world as a 'gun for hire'. His unorthodox approach and strong sense of personal integrity often bring him into conflict with both his employers and the authorities, making him more enemies than friends...

Starring Richard Bradford in a career-defining role as McGill, Man in a Suitcase has been newly remastered in High Definition from original 35mm film elements for this Blu-ray release. Featuring all thirty episodes, this critically acclaimed and highly popular action series has never looked better than this.

Was waiting for a complete set for this instead of the singles. Had I known one would come out for Department S (and eventually go as cheap as around 16 quid), I’d have waited on that one too.

Only 4 discs though? On the Amazon description it says 6.

Why is this not on the networkonair.com website? Amazon.co.uk had this for like 45 Lbs. which is not cheap. The market place a$$holes are price gouging the this title at 62 Lbs which is absurd. Was this an Amazon exclusive? Network has never had it in their site for sale.

Because they sold it first split into the 6 single disk volume releases which are still available to buy on their site.

The complete boxset they always said was for the general retail trade only. It was launched after the expiry of the exclusivity window expired after they released volume 6 via their own site.

The same applies to Captain Scarlet, Joe 90 and Randall and Hopkirk Deceased, only the volume releases appear to be available on their website.

I hope there is some excess stock of this when Network’s holdings get sorted out. I can’t find this set anywhere online and both my orders from early June were cancelled

Maybe there's a chance it will come out in Australia? Since Network released it on Blu I think it might be one that pops up again from somewhere else, as opposed to some of the DVD only releases from them. But don't play my Lottery numbers just yet.

I really hope you can get it as it's a very cool show and star Richard Bradford is great in it. He was like Michael Parks and many others who were heavily influenced by James Dean and affected that particular method style perfectly (although sometimes you have to up the volume to hear what they're mumbling ).

Has anyone used Fruugo before? I'm still having problems with my order of Volume 4 Blu-Ray & this is the ONLY place I can see it on sale.

I am sure I wasn't the only person who fully supported the volume by volume releases of their ITC shows. I think Network shot themselves in the foot by making full series releases happen so soon after completing the volumes releases.

As this is my favourite lead performance in any series, I am very glad we got this before they went under.

The complete set disappeared fast. I ordered it from Fleabay and the seller soon cancelled. Then through Movie Mars on Amazon UK and they cancelled it too.

Default Remaining stock

Are you in the UK? Have you explored Foyles of London book shop that ordered in mass just prior to Network's demise?

I missed out on getting the limited edition "The prisoner". The individual series and the deluxe final series for "Man in a suitcase", were all available in several sales in last year. I vaguely remember "the prisoner" was too, so guess can;t buy everything.. Didn't do bad overall was spending £30-40 a go in all their recent sales, including dvd ones.

I ONLY got the individual volumes of the TV series as I wanted the extras that came with Volume 6.

Hopefully my Fruugo order of Volume 4, which has been dispatched, turns up so I can finally start watching the series.

I have only watched the first two, or three episodes of series one so far. The PQ is excellent and stories pretty good.
