Isn't it so difficult no to want to go and purchase this item immeditately? I agree that purchasing Blu-Ray disks are becoming an expensive habit.

The SQ and PQ on the standard DVD was better than some of the bad BD transfers I hear about on this forum. It'll be hard for me to go re-purchase cars despite my curiosity to see just how much better BD can possibly make it look and sound.

I guarantee you, it won't even be close.

At a Fry's near my place, there is a 65" Sharp LCD that's always playing Blu-ray discs. It's in the middle of the TV section (has 6 52" LCD's surrounding it) and it's always looking head and shoulders above the rest, being the only one that's fed a true highdef signal.

Always, except one time -- it was playing Cars DVD. It looked so much worse compared to the Blu-rays (and they always have good ones too -- Ice Age 2, Happy Feet, TMNT, Open Season, in the last few weeks) it was unbelievable.

OK, so not everybody has a 65" LCD, but I'm sure you will notice a difference nonetheless.

enjoy
