Lupin III, Japan’s beloved gentleman thief, is getting his first CG feature. The director of the new feature is Takashi Yamazaki, the man behind Dragon Quest: Your Story and Stand by Me Doraemon.

Generally not a fan of CGI animated films, but this looks like very nice CG.

Why so?

Your comment seems to be, at first, that you don’t like CG animation at all for some reasons but the second part suggests it is because you think CG animation isn’t very good.

I have heard of Lupin but know nothing about it and while the animation looks fantastic it looks just as fantastic as other fantastic animation.

The animation looks fantastic. I would have liked if Tin Tin had a more stylized look like this has.

Finally saw it. I actually like it. Especially if you're a fan of the second/red jacket series (which seems to be the version most people are familiar with). Can't say you will like this movie if you couldn't get into the Lupin III franchise before. But if you already a fan, give this a shot.
