The best thing it will do is make lazy folks like me but a copy. I have hesitated pulling the trigger on it far too many times on the Umbrella release.

For one, they can get rid of the ugly grid pattern visible throughout the movie. That alone will be enough reason to buy this. That, and the fact this is a US release.

Umbrella's transfer didn't impress me at all, though the paperback style artwork was cool. I welcome this Scream Factory release and it's slimmer case!

Yeah I still don't know why this is so much more visible to some more than (if at all) to others. This issue makes it pretty much unwatchable for me. It is REALLY bad. It only seems to be an issue with the region free Umbrella release too for some reason. I'm thrilled SF is releasing this!

I don't get it, either. I've watched my copy on various different sets as well as in my theater. I haven't noticed any issues, and neither have the multiple people who have watched it with me. I feel bad for those of you who aren't so lucky, and hopefully Scream's release won't give you any problems. Such a neat movie!
