Anyone have an opinion?

When I upgrade my front end I want to move into a speaker that has atleast 8" drivers, these were the first one to come up.

I want to keep my budget at about 800-1000

People either love em or hate them. I happen to be a big fan of them. One of the best speakers that will fit in your budget range IMO.

I wouldn't limit yourself by selecting an arbitrary number like " 8 inch driver or better"
