...shop online, youd get a much better deal.

Are you looking for a 'smaller' speakers package?

Check out some of the offerings from The Speaker Company and Mirage !

There are plenty of others as well.

we appreciate the fact that a number of newcomers are trying to get feedback, and reviews on certain speakers, thank you for considering that.

to take it a step further, we can always give you our recommendations on certain models, link research material in order for you to study, and a lot more.

as a default, its always important to know that auditioning is also an essential step for a consumer to consider when purchasing speakers/components. i cannot emphasize how important this step is towards building your new home theater.

in regards to klipsch speakers, a love/hate relationship comes out of this. some people love their high sensitivity levels, some hate the 'brightness' and/or fatigue associated with horn driven speakers.

mirage and the speaker company also produce some excellent speakers. im biased towards mirage due to their performance.

at the end of the day, we can suggest a couple of speakers, but always recommend a good listen to them. some internet based companies also offer a good audition policy, or at least a respectable return policy. *forgot to mention, if they DONT, then its time to shop somewhere else.

go to any various audio/video store, and salesmen will be ready to show you many different demonstrations. At least do this to get a feel for the difference in speakers, and then do your comparison shopping from home. Maybe the best deal will be from a store, may online, just do your research. One company I would at least recommend checking out is Elemental Designs. You can walk away with an entire package for about as much as you originally intended to spend. Many people on here have the subs, and a few have the surround speakers, so dig around on this site for information. I may pull the trigger on a complete package too, but I'll be doing it blind, that is without hearing them first. No one around me owns them, so I'm going purely on testimonials.
