United Kingdom Upgrade (Limited Edition) (Second Sight) 18th Nov 2019

From their website and pre order is up.

https://secondsightfilms.co.uk/colle...imited-edition
In a near-future world, where technology controls everything, technophobe Grey Trace is the victim of a brutal mugging that leaves his wife dead and him paralyzed. A reclusive billionaire inventor offers him an experimental cure, an A.I. implant called STEM. Grey accepts and is immediately transformed into an unstoppable killing machine with enhanced strength and agility. Now it’s payback time.

This hugely successful collaboration between genre specialists Blumhouse and the creator of the Saw franchise has become an instant cyberpunk classic.

Second Sight have been killing it with their box art, Take Shelter, The Changeling and Flight of Navigator and now this, haven't seen the movie yet so might pick this release up.

Was disappointed it didn't get a release a while ago - and watched via one of the Amazon Prime Streaming specials (99p I think) - really enjoyed it (Venom with SF twist and waaay better, IMHO).

Might pick this up

It's a shame the Audio Commentary with Leigh Whannell won't be included.

Wow that is a nice box. I do wish The Invitation had gotten the LE treatment as well, but this is lovely.

I got the bare bones Aussie release so may stick with it.
Love the movie but spent too much on films recently so double dips should be avoided for me!

Need to see running times on those extras, as I'm not digging that artwork and already have the Aussie release with commentary track.

Liked this so much I checked out the other stuff Leigh Whannell had written. Along with Saw and Insidious I enjoyed Dead Silence, The Mule and Cooties. Looking forward to the Invisible Man and he's rumoured to be involved with the Escape From New York remake

I'll happily sell off my Aussie disc now that the commentary is on the SS Blu-ray.

Not Action. Not Sci-Fi. More: a new interview with Director Leigh Whannell - is 30 minutes long.

SS Facebook:

"A big thanks to writer and director Leigh Whannell for a fantastic 30 min interview for our release of Upgrade."

Not sure what y'all mean. The Australian blu-ray of Upgrade does have the commentary as well as a couple of short interviews.
